OASIS Social Network is a libre, peer-to-peer and federated social network built on the Secure Scuttlebutt (SSB) protocol, part of the SolarNET.HuB ecosystem.

We run no servers that collect, store or process your data. The app has no analytics, no ads and no third-party tracking. Your identity and content live on your device and are shared only with the peers you choose.

Stored locally and under your control: your SSB identity (keypair), profile (name, description, avatar), and your content (posts, messages, forums, votes, uploaded media, settings). We have no access to it.

• Content you publish to the public feed is public by nature of SSB and is replicated to the peers you sync with. Treat public posts as permanently public.
• Private messages are end-to-end encrypted to their recipients.
• SSB is append-only: once replicated to other peers, a message cannot be technically recalled from them.

Third-party peers/pubs you connect to are outside our control.

• Internet / network state — to connect to peers over SSB.
• Media selection (Photo Picker) — only for files you choose to upload. The app does not scan your storage.

We collect nothing, so there is nothing to sell or share. We never do.

The in-app Panic option (Settings) wipes your identity, keys and local content from the device at any time. Content already replicated to other peers cannot be deleted from them, due to SSB's append-only design.

OASIS is not directed to children and is intended for users of legal age.
